New year…new cheers
MHS Cheerleaders start off strong with three, 1st place awards at summer cheer camp. The head coach Mrs. Holladay and the 21 girls on the squad worked hard all summer to impress other squads and the UCA judges at Mississippi State University cheer camp. The squad came home with an overall gameday award, 1st in cheers award, and 1st in sidelines.
Mrs. Holladay also reported that the cheer squad has big ideas for upcoming pep rallies and game days. One of the team’s biggest goals is to bring school spirit back into the halls of Mooreville.
