Meet Pink Floyd!

Welcoming Pink Floyd to MHS

Recently Mrs. Ray, the biology teacher, purchased a new snake! She confirmed that she ordered him from Michigan. He is a morphed corn snake. She also mentioned, “I got the snake because I thought it would be interesting to study and watch it grow.” It is an amelanistic snake, which means it has a total absence of melanin. The snake also has a red tint to it because it is an anerythristic snake, which just means it has an absence of erythrism. Mrs. Ray also mentioned that she only feeds it once a week, and usually since the skin of the snake is so light you can  see it digest. If you look closely you can also see the snake’s organs.
